Ultimate Biker Makeover; Carlisle Edition 2010
The Garage-Girls went at it again, on a mission to brighten someone’s day that might be down on their luck. “So many people are in need of a lift; why not help out a fellow-riding enthusiast that might be in a tight spot.”
The drive behind this event is and will continue to be, to help an average Joe or Jill that simply is in need of some new riding gear and accessories for his or her ride.
On July 24th 2010 the two winners of the Garage-Girls Ultimate Biker Makeover
were awarded their long list of prizes and were sporting the biggest smiles all day.
Runner up Judy Reed of Battle Creek Michigan was thrilled with all her prizes, when asked what she was most excited about she didn’t know how to answer. “I think maybe the Z1R jacket, or maybe the Wizards cooler filled with cleaning stuff, I just don’t know, I love it all”. Grand Prize-winner David Bardwell from Texas City Texas, who along with all the riding accessories that Judy scored, was also awarded with components for his 2008 Victory Vegas. When asked what he was most excited about David answered, “I’m really liking that Mustang seat, and I know my wife is going to be excited about it as well”

 IN MEMORY OF JED..............
We would like to dedicate this years contest to the memory of last years winner Kristin Buckley's son Jed Smith. Jed was diagnosed at age 4 with Leukemia, he fought a long, tough, hard battle and never once gave up spirit! On Jan 3rd 2010 Jed passed away with his mom Kristin at his side. Please take a moment to visit THON a wonderful effort that raises funds and awareness for the fight against pediatric cancer. With the support of students from all across the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and THON Alumni all around the world, THON continues to make great strides towards finding a cure for all childhood cancers!
