WILLY
When you first meet me, you’d better brace yourself because you’re about to experience a big surge of love! I’m Willy, a big friendly 4 year old St. Bernard who’s looking for someone to help me become a better dog.
I’ll get the bad news out of the way first: I’m very clingy! I’ve been left by different people and returned so many times that I don’t know what to do! I’m afraid that anytime you leave me you won’t come back! I’m also a big galoot who doesn’t know his own size. So while I love kids, I do best with older children that I won’t accidentally knock over with my size! I still mouth a little bit when I get excited so I do need plenty of training as well.
The good news: I’m very affectionate and love all kinds of people. I don’t tear things up in the house and I love going for a ride in the car (if I can fit inside it!). I like other dogs and would do great with someone to help show me the ropes. Do you have enough room in your family for me? Come meet me today At Animal Friends!

PAL
Pal is a handsome and proud 11-year-old boxer mix. His last family provided care and training, but brought him to Animal Friends because they could no longer keep him. Pal is very strong and looks a bit intimidating, but he walks very well on a leash–which he loves! Pal will even pick up your leash, unroll it, and hold it until you take him for a walk. Pal loves to learn and is fun to train. His antics make him a volunteer favorite. If you have it in your heart to give Pal a second chance, he will repay you forever. Stop by Animal Friends and meet him today!

DOODLES
Doodles is a gorgeous, happy little terrier that you may see leaping into the air one moment as if on a pogo stick and then cuddling with a volunteer the next. This sweet, entertaining, bouncy guy walks great on a leash and will jump onto a bench to snuggle up to a volunteer.
On a recent outing to the park, Doodles walked well with other dogs and rode very well in the car. Doodles is a bright, high-energy dog who would excel in obedience training and with an active family who has terrier experience and older or no children. Parson Russell Terriers are very intelligent dogs who thrive when given lots of exercise and mental stimulation.
Are you looking for an adorable companion for long walks and who would be great fun learning tricks and commands in behavior classes? If so, silly little Doodles is your guy! Come meet Doodles at Animal Friends today!
THON
What Is THON? The largest student-run philanthropy in the world! The Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon, affectionately referred to as THON, is ready to do battle in the fight to conquer childhood cancer.
In 1973, a small group of dedicated Penn State students held the first Dance Marathon. That year, 39 dancer couples participated and raised $2,000. Since then, THON’s presence in the Penn State community has grown exponentially. THON now has 15,000 student volunteers, 700 dancers, and has raised more than $69 million, benefiting The Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Children’s Hospital.
THON is now a year-long effort that raises funds and awareness for the fight against pediatric cancer. With the support of students from all across the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and THON Alumni all around the world, we continue to make great strides towards finding a cure for all childhood cancers!
