Spectro Oils selected (again) by the AMA 6-Day ISDE Team!

Spectro Oils of America is proud to once again be asked to support the AMA 6-Day ISDE Team.  This always-demanding event will be held in the Kotka‐Hamina region in southern Finland, running from the 8th to 13th of August, 2011. The International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) is the world’s largest annual off-road motorcycle competition. Since 1913, countries have sent their best off-road racers to exotic locations around the world to be tested on everything from sandy beaches to rocky crevices to deep woods to motocross tracks for the event’s top prize: the ISDE World Trophy.
This year the team will face six days of grueling riding over varied and demanding terrain, and the strains placed on the bike are tremendous. The lubricants must withstand shearing and thermal breakdown, and be able to perform despite the dirt, sand, dust, water, mud and extreme heat of the race — and never fail to provide maximum performance — for six consecutive days!
Spectro is proud to have delivered on that performance promise, 6-Day after 6-Day, year after year.

Quietly and calmly, Gypsie spends most of her time laying in her Condo, waiting for a home in which she can relax and flourish into the loving and affectionate cat she wants to be. When alone with volunteers and staff, Gypsie is an attentive lap-sitter who likes to be petted and held. But in her condo, Gypsie can seem shy and timid.

Gypsie is up-to-date on shots, micro-chipped, and spayed. If you can offer Gypsie the loving home she is waiting for, come to Animal Friends.

ALEX

1 year old domestic shorthair
Alex is a short-haired brown tabby who is friendly, yet shy, particularly around loud noises. This affectionate guy’s pregnant mother was dropped off at a vet’s office. After she delivered, all of his siblings were taken home, leaving poor Alex behind. His previous care-giver speculates that no one chose him because of a skin condition where he is left with patches of missing fur. To us here at Animal Friends, though, his strange appearance only adds to his charm. 

Alex loves attention and other cats. He especially likes to be held and petted. Alex’s care-giver also said he was having trouble using his litter box. He’s doing just fine with his litter here, so we’d be glad to share tips to make sure Alex succeeds at your house, too! Alex is neutered, up-to-date on shots, and micro-chipped.
