Victoria Kriner Hello ladies, Can you please help me? I am a Patriot Guard Rider , Regional Rep for Americas 911 foundations (911 ride) and also a Soldiers Angel. I believe in Volunteering because those who serve need to know they are not alone, wether we are escorting them home off the airplanes , sending them off or their funerals they need to know they are not alone! So this is my honor to stand in the flag lines for those who stood for us! Alot of times its a trek on the bike, my bike is a 1998 , 883 sporster hugger which i upgraded last year to a 1200. On the long treks the seat killed me so i finally found a sundowner seat, it is helping some, because i have forward controls i can't find pegs to stretch my legs out onto as i just had surgery not to long ago and this will be a problem on the long rides. My neighbor who saw me struggling trying to make a flag mount for a 3x5 flag for the missions with the PGR helped design a wooden one with bolts that go through the small sissy bar that i have on the bike. Even though i might be riding the smaller bike alot of times i am upfront in the processions because i am flying the big flag and the two smaller ones. I would love to play patriotic music as i feel its the right thing to do as i ride a mission. But i wish i had a chance to afford a radio even if it was used to put somewhere on the bike. As for me my hair is breaking off because of my helmet , but i will never ride without a helmet! Even after reading this ladies PLEASE PLEASE know i am very happy to live in a free country because of the sacrifices that our soldiers are making every day! I trully can answer the old question (What price freedom!) I know what price freedom costs,! i love my FREEDOM and my American flag if i could my bike would be painted red white and blue with a military theme. I am content with what i have though, yes i wish for certain things but i believe if a person had everything they would still find something that they needed to have. I just want to be as comfortable on the bike as i can possibly be since she isn't a cruising bike. I can send you a picture if you would like with the flags on her after the last completed mission.
